Ratz Rides 2004 Paul Sheppard - Tue Jun 22, 2004 14:19:55 |
For 2004 we are continuing our tradition of Sunday rides on the first Sunday morning of the month. They are for anyone wishing to turn up and ride.
The rides will be a minimum of 20 miles so please ensure you have a suitable mountain bike, essential tools, food and water and be able to ride for 20 to 30 miles (off road). The rides are not races so no one will be left behind, so come and join us.
Our Thursday evening training rides at the Ratz track in Checkendon continue despite the inclement weather. These are for members only so go the membership page if you need to download a form. Please meet at the club car park at about 7pm to blast the days problems away or just find us on the course, and until spring comes along remember to bring your lights!
For full details of our next rides just join the mailing list.

Come and have some fun on one of the best cross-country courses in the south of England. We're looking forward to another excellent year of races weekends at the track, join our mailing list for details as soon as we have them.
If you are looking for an excellent place to hold your event with plenty of parking and camping then contact steve@ratmbc.co.uk and let us get it on. Please note we will need at least four weeks notice to arrange an event.
If you dont wish to race just come and support the riders. There is loads of free parking and you are very welcome to walk around the fantastic woodland trails and cheer on the racers. After a long walk there are plenty of caterers supplying hot or cold food were you can relax and watch and cheer the finishers.
For directions to Hammonds Wood (Ratz course) see the maps.
