Deeply sad news - Passing of Stephen Hart

Stephen Hart the owner of the land the RATs course is set on up until his recent retirement, who helped set up the club and its course from the very beginning, sadly passed away on the morning of Friday the 3rd of March 2006.
The club has always had a very good relationship with Stephen, he was instrumental in the forming of the club, and the agreement we currently have with Hammonds Wood. He was always keen to see us using the woods and was always accommodating with our events, helping in whatever way he could. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
He will be deeply missed by the committee, and I?m sure a lot of our members.
By way of a tribute we propose to name our new bridge after him.
So long Stephen, and thanks for all your help over the many years.

Palmer Park MTB Champs

Palmer Park Velo will be running the MTB round of their club champs at our Checkendon course on Sunday 6th November.
Racing will be from 12:00 to 15:00 and any Ratz club members under the age of 16 are welcome to join in the fun!
