| | Giant Anthem 1's at half price.........................
How would you like a Giant Anthem 1 for 1/2 price just ?1500. These are top of the range 2006 Giant lightweight full suspension bikes. They have 3.5 inches of travel with a Manitou SPV shock. How can they be so cheap well they are ex-race team bikes from AW Cycles. I can vouch for them as one was mine, there are only 3 available so be quick. There are 2 mediums which are 18" and one large which is a 20". They are all in very good condition and have just been prepared and serviced by the workshop ready for sale.
They have been raced this season only and none have any dents or large scratches just light scuffing here and there from cables and shoes etc. The specs are SRAM XO shifters and rear mech, XT front mech. Brakes are Hayes HFX9 Carbon disc brakes and excellent Manitou R7 forks, wheels are Mavic Crossmax SL's, losts of nice Race Face bits inc stem, Deus chainset, carbon seat post and bars. They have been well looked after and maintained to keep them in race ready condition all year. Don't think they will be worn out as we have also raced hard tails on some courses, I am certain mine only did 10 races.

Just signed up to join today as live in Reading, always knew there was something at Checkendon but never investigated until now. Plan on having a ride on saturday but no idea what to expect - read on the site mention of a downhill course? Can anyone fill me in on what the course is like?

Hi all,
I'm neither a member nor a racer and my 8 year old daughter would like to give it a go - to train for MTB racing, see what she can do and whether she will like it. She only did some gentle rides within 20 miles range and needs some encouragement to understand more about the gear and how to use it.
She's only allowed to see me on Saturdays after 11am, so I'd be able to bring her over by noon.
Is your club a good place for her to start and get some friendly advice? Do you have any other children of her age?
