I managed to slip out to Wales on Easter Sunday
We got to Afan around 10am and the car park was nearly full
I think it was beacause there is a feature in this months MBR
I did all three routes just as they did
40 miles of MTB fun
Anyone up for it on 2nd May????
On the Ratz ride.
Just remember to leave early.

| | Ratz DH course I have decided to make a start on the DH course. The plan is to just develop the course we already have by adding burms and jumps etc. Wherever there is a tricky bit we will put in a 'chicken run' so that all abilities can ride the course.
If anyone would like to help, I will be going to the course one evening a week (probably mondays or wednesdays) to try and get the course ship shape for the summer. Any comments or requests, let me know.
Mick, I hope I am not treading on your toes!

| | New www.ratmbc.co.uk I've taken Mark's page design and turned it in to the new Ratz site. The hosting arrangement remains the same, so no integration of the forum just yet. That will come in time.
I'm conscious that there's rather a lot of static material at the top of the page that restricts what can be seen without scrolling down.
All comments and suggestions etc.!

| | Photo gallery - Wooh! Bit clunky at the moment, but the workings are there.
here is the photo gallery which will show a random selection of all the photos uploaded.
below each photo are it's details, including a clickable link to the gallery to which it belongs to (if it belongs to one)
here is all my photos
here is my first gallery - afan
When you are signed in more otions become available, such as going to your photos, upload new images, edit your images details, edit your galleries, or create a new gallery.
The creation and editing of a new gallery is a bit clunky, as you have to first create the gallery, then go around adding the photos you want to it. Do this by clicking on the edit photos link at the bottom, select the photos you want, then select your gallery from the list and click the add button. Removal is a similar process. You can also add and remove other peoples photos to your galleries (but obviously you can't delete them!).
Also, all your photos and galleries are linked to in your member profile box (click a persons name on one of thier posts)
Please let me know if any errors occur - there's bound to be loads!
p.s Dan, best you leave this feature alone, eh.

| | Hello Hi Ratz,
Myself and 2 eldest boys have just joined your fine club, Mick did you get post? It was a long time ago, but we rode as a family at the RUSS event. First time real off-road for them and first time I rode your course.............we all loved it. They are very keen to get back on the course and give it a blast!!! Hopefully we will meet some of you guys around the course it due time.
I am busy training for the new SXC season, this will be my first season at racing, I missed 3 months of training due to problems after an operation, bugger!!. The first race is at the RATZ course, so home advantage, LOL!!
Oh yeah one quick question......Should i enter the Fun or novice class,
p.s I am 36 yrs old and middle of field speed wise, thanks.
Cya soon,
