| | Summit Racing Team Relay Anyone interested in the team relay at High Wycombe.
I'm possibly interested, but need a team member.
Think I could make it there for 6.30pm.

| | World Cup Chaser I have just posted details of the World Cup Chaser in the events list.
The deadline for entries is very close (27th Aug 2005), so I would hurry. If you are up in Fort William for the weekend, take your bike and have a go at riding the same course (slightly slower) as the pros.
I had a go in the rain last year. It has to be the toughest course in the country. I'm praying for dry weather, but this is Scotland so I'm expecting snow.
If anyone is heading up, I'm also planning on spending a few days riding the 7 stanes. Personally I think they are better than the Welsh routes.
See you there!

| | Show me Yours! Hi there,
It's Charlie your friendly Wednesday evening route guide here.
If you are planning on coming to Guildford for the first of the evening rides on Wed August the 10th, then you are in for a real treat.
I spent a good few years in Guildford and found there to be some great trials.
The rough plan is a promt-ish 7pm start from the Newland Corner carpark. From the car we head back towards Guildford through some tight singletrack to get us warmed up. Just before we hit the edge of town it's a fast fun decent down onto the Pilgram way, before climbing back up onto St Marthers Hill. A quick rest at the top then it's a great sandy decent onto Blackheath.
From here its east through the woods until we hang a left and start climbing back up onto the downs. Depending on time we can try out a number of the decents off the down, or just head back for a pint in the local.
Hope to see you there.

| | CHAINSAW ALERT Went for a lap of the course on Saturday evening (yes, me!) and there was some holly that needed trimming back at the bottom of Hammonds, a pop concert in Park Wood and a fallen tree blocking the entire width of the tunnel.
The holly isn't really an issue of course, but we need a chainsaw to sort out that tree. It might also help to shift the hippies, if they're still there.
Do we have one, or know someone who can help?
ps. It's been such a long time since I got my creaking knees to do a full lap - bloody magic track innit?

| | Hmmmm what to do, what to do? Thinking of selling my coyote and reinventing my giant as a 'do everything' bike, have been looking at this frame, anyone know if they are any good? You cant get it for less than ?700 in the UK.
