Hi there and welcome to the Ratz MBC Website. The Ratz are a small and friendly mountain bike club with members of all ages and levels of fitness, based at Checkendon in Oxfordshire, halfway between Reading and Wallingford.
The club has it's own cross country course, described as 'excellent' by MBR*, parts of which have been used in the SXC series and British Championships with a fantastic variety of technical and singletrack routes. The course is open to ride every day of the year- all we ask is that you become a member before you use the track because it is on private land.
SWINLEY FOREST PERMITS. Complementing our Checkendon course, this year the club is offering an annual Swinley Forest permit with every adult membership! See membership for further info.
